That being said, Time Out II has a new chef who previously worked at Little Tuna in Lindenwold, and will be adding their own flair to the menu over time. Literally there is something for everyone. The menu also features burgers, cheesesteaks, seafood & pasta, wraps & quesadillas, pizzas and a heck of a lot more. I also had Corona Light or two to wash it down. But things will be changing.ĭuring my visit I tried their chicken wings, which were delicious and perfectly cooked, and had a slight garlic flavor. You can see and hear the band, but you don’t feel like you are sitting on top of them!įor the opening the menu is mostly a carryover of what was offered in Barrington… delicious Pub fare. View from the bar area towards the stage. Back at that entrance off the parking lot (and adjacent to the stage are) is another separate room that will be setup for dining and private events. There are more surprises still to come! There is still another dining room which currently isn’t setup for use. The bar seating is close enough to the band are to see and hear all the action, but just far enough away that you can still have a conversation as Sordid Past is rocking out the place to Rock N Roll All Night!Īnd a main thing is… it all looks and feels “fresh”, almost like the entire interior was just constructed. I know that doesn’t make sense how I wrote it. While Time Out II has defined separate areas, they are never really separate. The setup is really interesting… and smart. Makes for a cool effect of being able to see out, but not in.Īlso in this area is a small wedged outdoor patio area, right off the bar.

My advice to them is go taste what your competition is serving and be very thankful you get the amount of gullible people you get.Time Out II at O’Donnell’s : Gloucester City NJĪnd in one corner the O’Donnell’s building has had floor-to-ceiling windows to give a view to the outside… and on the outside of the windows there are additional Time Out II logo screens. I will wait another two years before giving Timeout another chance. Sometimes I WISH I could sit down with the owners of places like Timeout and just make them taste their own food. I should mention that the only reason we went to Timeout is someone gave us a gift card. I can go to another little sports bar three blocks away (Dugout Sports Bar) and have a FAR FAR better plate of chicken for half the price of Timeout. On top of the bland food the prices are way out of line. The cook at this place should go taste the chicken at Popeye's or KFC or even the Waffle House to taste actual flavor. Seriously, I am pretty easily pleased but when you can't even add a little pepper to give your food taste then just close your kitchen. Today, I thought I would try the fried chicken and even THAT sucked. More importantly, why do so many people go there? The service is not great and the food. They have some real problems and I don't understand why they can't seem to get past them. I have gone to Timeout Sports Bar now about four times. I will continue to eat here but never for perch. I depend on TripAdvisor reviews and wish there was a review about the $18.95 Perch only having 2 butterflies because I wouldn't have ordered it. I hate having to write a negative review on a place I like but it still bothers me 2 weeks later so putting it out there. The price was actually more of an issue than the food served. I've eaten here before and always had great food so think the cook was temporarily overwhelmed. Had to wait a bit longer than I expected considering place wasn't very busy but there was a large group among a few smaller groups in the dining area so the wait was understandable but we didn't have time for a refire so ate what was served. served with the perch.I understand prepping bread in advance but don't leave it out to dry.

Petty but irritating as well was the stale, dry rye bread. Both had decent flavor even though they were dark brown and not golden brown. The perch and chicken tenders served were over cooked. LARGE PERCH for $18.95 was pretty shocking for only 2 butterflies.
